[cbp.gov] CALIFORNIA - USBP Agents Seize Methamphetamine, Cocaine in Separate Traffic Stops
"Agents conducted an inspection of the vehicle with a service canine. The canine alerted to the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle. The driver and passenger (a 22-year-old male U.S. citizen) were both arrested and transported to a nearby Border Patrol station for processing. At the station, agents removed a total of 24 packages of suspected narcotics from a box on the rear floorboard of the vehicle. Testing confirmed the packages contained methamphetamine. The total weight of the packages was 18.3 pounds. During the investigation, the driver notified agents that additional methamphetamine was left behind at his El Cajon residence to be transported later. Agents responded and discovered four additional packages of methamphetamine with a weight of 3.04 pounds."
